Who i am
I help leaders and their teams navigate conflict and tension. I help smart people to collaborate across borders, functions and personal differences. I’ve led international teams myself, negotiated global deals, and know how much value is lost when tension gets avoided instead of used.
Although work brings me across the globe, my fantastic home base is Utrecht, The Netherlands, where I live with my wife Christelle, and our two boys Kilian and Corentin.. I love running and swimming in icy waters, read a lot, and can always be pleased with a glass of white Burgundy or red Barbera.
I started with a PhD in Physics, before I had a career in global general management at Philips/NXP. Before I went independent in 2010, I ran the Learning & Development function in that company. Since then, I have specialized in cross-cultural collaboration, inclusion and “perspective intelligence”.
